What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Support sales executives with solution selling into prospect account base
- Partner with sales executives to plan, prepare, and execute on strategic deals in complex sales cycles
- Create and deliver presentations and demos that clearly communicate unique value propositions
- Manage all technical aspects of RFP/RFI responses and conduct Proof of Concept trials
- Collect and document competitive intelligence to inform sales strategies
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated solution sales experience
- Experience in a complex sales environment with a proven track record of achieving sales targets
- Strong technical background with hands-on experience in networking and/or information security technologies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex concepts clearly
- Must currently reside in the respective region (Illinois, Missouri)
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of demonstrated solution sales experience
- Knowledge of cybersecurity and networking solutions/technologies
- Advanced level network technology certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE)
- Experience with public cloud environments (AWS, Azure, etc.)
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python and REST API frameworks
