What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Ensure patients are registered for all service lines and perform eligibility verification
- Maintain close communication with clinical partners to enhance patient experience
- Provide timely coverage of assigned work area to ensure prompt patient service
- Contact insurance companies to verify eligibility and benefits within established timeframes
- Register patients by collecting critical demographic information and confirming insurance details
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or equivalent with at least 1 year of experience
- Proven ability to maintain effective communication with clinical partners
- Strong time management skills and flexibility to meet department needs
- Ability to meet productivity standards set by department leadership
- Experience with insurance verification processes and patient data collection
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- One year of relevant healthcare experience
- Prior experience in collections
- One year of customer service experience
- One year of direct Patient Access experience
- Associate's degree
