What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Ensure patients are appropriately registered for all service lines and perform eligibility verification
- Maintain close communication with clinical partners to enhance patient experience
- Provide timely coverage of assigned work area for prompt patient service
- Verify insurance eligibility and benefits before scheduled appointments
- Register patients by collecting critical demographic information
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or equivalent with 1+ years of experience in a relevant field
- Ability to maintain schedule flexibility and meet attendance requirements
- Exceptional time management skills to limit unauthorized overtime
- Proficient in communication and collaboration with clinical areas
- Knowledge of insurance verification processes and patient registration
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in Oncology and/or Infusions is a plus
- One year of relevant healthcare experience
- Prior collections experience
- One year of customer service experience
- One year of direct Patient Access experience
