- Translate & review translated digital experience content (i.e., website and mobile app) to accurately convey the intended message to French speaking populations.
- Improve machine translations to ensure that they are clear, culturally appropriate, and accurately reflect the original message.
- Collaborate with other members of the team to identify areas where translation improvements can be made and implement those changes.
- Collaborate with Digital Experience Content Team to review new Content Experiences to ensure appropriate for Kohler.ca sites (English & French Canadian).
- Collaborate with other internal Kohler Teams (Campaign, Digital Merchants, Advertising (Beacon), Sales) to enhance the experience of Kohler.ca
- Display initiative to remove obstacles and demonstrate high level communication skills.
- Demonstrate appropriate level of competency in the following areas: Drive Continuous Improvement, Set High Standards of Performance, Leadership, Teamwork, Communication, Business Acumen, Management of Self, Management/Development of Others, focus on the End Customer, and Build Trust.
- Bachelor's degree in 4 Year Program (BA / BS); degree in translation (or related field) preferred
- 2+ Years of Experience in digital content translation experience
- Technically proficient and familiar with content management systems with basic knowledge of site/page structure (Adobe Experience Manager preferred)
- Translation software knowledge (Transperfect preferred) and experience working with a translation memory
- Must be bilingual & fluent in English & French Canadian, with a strong emphasis on French Canadian language & translation proficiency.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks at once, prioritize deliverables, work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment and deliver on time-sensitive goals.
- Perfect command of French Canadian & English languages.
- High degree of efficiency, autonomy, and thoroughness.

Opportunity
Our company is seeking a highly skilled and fluent French (Canada) Digital Content & Translator Manager to join our Digital Customer Experience team. This individual will be responsible for translating & reviewing website and mobile app content, as well as improving machine translations, to ensure that our products and features are accessible to English & French-Canadian speaking populations. Success is rooted in understanding and developing expertise in our content management and platform tools, supporting translation needs by reviewing & approving translated content with quick turn needs, and can execute projects under tight deadlines.
In addition, this role will support overall review & optimization of content & digital experiences on Kohler.ca for English & French-Canadian experiences. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner, possess excellent attention to detail and cultural awareness, and have strong communication and collaboration skills. Further, this role will build strong cross functional partnerships with internal business stakeholders including Consumer Channel, Campaigns, Marketing Team, Product Managers, and global Digital Experience teams to create best in class digital experiences and deliver on performance goals. This individual should have experience working with Canadian French translations and have some familiarity with the ecommerce industry, content management/publishing, or other web-related skill sets.

The salary range for this position is $96,300 - $122,300. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. Available benefits include medical, dental, vision & 401k.
