What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Write compelling marketing copy across a variety of content deliverables, including websites, blogs, and digital ads
- Optimize existing content to improve user experience and align with clients' marketing goals
- Collaborate with Content, SEO, and Design teams to enhance website content while prioritizing user experience
- Conduct keyword research and develop content strategies based on findings
- Perform quality assurance checks on content and participate in client onboarding meetings
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Familiarity with content trends, consumer behavior, and SEO best practices in skilled trades industries
- Proficiency in digital marketing concepts, especially regarding SEO and lead generation
- Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to meet multiple deadlines
- Experience working in various CMS environments, particularly WordPress
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- A degree in Communications, Marketing, English Literature, Journalism, or a related field
- 1-3 years of experience in copywriting, digital marketing, or SEO content optimization
- Experience writing for the home services and/or skilled trades industries is a plus
