What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Create engaging and original written content for various communication mediums, including articles, press releases, and web posts
- Proofread and copyedit materials to ensure grammatical accuracy and clarity
- Implement search engine optimization (SEO) techniques for online content
- Maintain effective communication with team members and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Foster a customer service-focused approach in all interactions and tasks
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in developing written materials in a professional setting (e.g., newspaper, PR/communications office, corporate office, or agency)
- Bachelor's degree in public relations, communications, journalism, or a related field
- Demonstrated proficiency in computer applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email, internet use)
- Ability to work effectively with all levels of employees and handle challenging situations diplomatically
- Valid US driver's license required
