      About the role:

      Are you passionate about making a real impact in the dynamic world of food production? We are on the lookout for a highly motivated Continuous Improvement Lead to join our innovative team. As a key player in our organization, you'll have the opportunity to shape the future of our production processes in Halle and contribute to our commitment to Go4Zero.

      Key responsibilities include:

      • Participate in morning meetings addressing a variety of issues, including downtimes, production challenges, & quality issues.
      • Analyze data & reports from our MES system, investigating trends and identifying potential areas for improvement.
      • Verify & discuss with our operators what was/ is really happening on the shop floor.
      • Lead improvement events / projects involving operators , team leaders, quality specialists , technicians & other stakeholders, while applying Continuous Improvement (CI) methods.
      • Develop clear and effective work instructions & one point lessons for our operators.
      • Provide training, coaching, and support to all involved employees regarding changed processes, the new way of working. Guide the entire change process.
      • Ideally 70% of your time is dedicated to projects & development of improved ways of working while staying in touch with the day to day events / issues on the shop floor.


      About you:

      • Bachelor's or Master's degree in applied science (bio-, technical, chemical…)
      • Proven knowledge of Continuous Improvement methodologies, with a focus on food production being a distinct advantage.
      • Strong project management skills, demonstrated through successful collaboration with cross-functional teams.
      • Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
      • You have the ability to engage effectively with floor staff & management in French, Dutch and English to identify and address issues.
