- Oversee the operational management and maintenance of Transmission Gully, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with contractual obligations
- Oversee the Capital Works projects collaborating closely with the client to deliver high-quality outcomes.
- Lead, manage, and mentor direct reports, fostering a supportive and collaborative team environment
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including NZTA, contractors, and other partners.
- Mange financials, including budgets, forecasts, reporting, ensuring financial targets are met and value is delivered
- Play a key role in contract strategy and execution, with the opportunity to make this role your own and drive improvements
- Proven experience in contract management, preferably within the Transport/Roading infrastructure sector.
- Strong people management skills with a demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with a variety of stakeholders including government bodies and contractors.
- Solid financial acumen with the ability to mange budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting.
- Proactive and results-driven mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Contract Manager to look after our Transport Infrastructure team based at the Transmission Gully in Wellington

ABOUT THE ROLE:
The role of Contract Manager is accountable for ensuring all contract management obligations are met, exceeding client expectations for both operation and maintenance and capital works variations. This includes people leadership, communication, safety, environmental management, financial, quality and agreed timeframes. The role requires proactive management towards resources to maximize the financial returns and effectively manage communications and SLA’s to maintain the relationships with clients.
