What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop, test, implement, and maintain Epic reimbursement contracts and pricing contracts
- Create and maintain provider networks and fee schedules in accordance with reimbursement contracts
- Manage the Epic Benefits Engine system to accurately estimate patient financial responsibilities
- Analyze EPIC system reports against contractual documentation for accuracy and resolve discrepancies
- Assist in the development and maintenance of the employer's online insurance reference guide
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree or equivalent work experience preferred
- 3 to 5 years of demonstrated strong analytical skills in healthcare reimbursement or patient accounts
- Experience with Epic Benefits Engine and/or Epic Contract Management strongly preferred
- Knowledge of hospital and/or physician billing from an analytical perspective preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in a pediatric healthcare environment
- Familiarity with procedural coding schemes, such as RBRVS, RVUs, and DRGs
- Strong communication skills with a focus on customer service
- Ability to document system changes thoroughly and clearly
- Previous experience in a role involving data analysis or financial reporting
