      Overview:

The Daily Grace Co. is seeking contract writers to develop Christ-centered family devotionals. We are looking for writers who can communicate biblical truth with warmth, accessibility, and theological depth for families who desire to grow in their knowledge of God and His Word together. Topics are open-ended—writers may pitch any gospel-rooted concept, theme, or devotional structure designed to help families engage Scripture in meaningful, age-appropriate ways.

The ideal candidate understands how to write for a mixed-age audience, can present theology clearly, and writes with creativity, depth, and doctrinal faithfulness. We are especially interested in writers who can guide families toward a deeper love for Jesus.

      Qualifications:

      • Bachelor’s degree preferred (theology, Bible, Christian education, English, creative writing, or related fields)
      • Strong grasp of biblical theology and how all of Scripture points to Jesus
      • Ability to communicate theological concepts clearly for both adults and children
      • Understanding of family dynamics and how to engage multiple age groups simultaneously
      • Ability to craft devotionals that are both theologically rich and practical for everyday life
      • Excellent written communication skills
      • Organized, self-motivated, and able to meet deadlines
      • Comfortable with collaborative feedback and revisions

      Scope of Work:

      • Create biblically faithful themes, structures, and concepts for family devotionals
      • Research, outline, and write a full devotional manuscript (length varies by project)
      • Integrate Scripture, devotional teaching, discussion prompts, and practical application
      • Write in a way that serves a broad range of ages while maintaining theological clarity
      • Collaborate with the editorial team throughout development and revisions
      • Ensure theological alignment with The Daily Grace Co.’s doctrinal commitments

      Commitment: Contract, per-project basis

      Compensation: Determined per project

      Additional Information:

Contractors are engaged based on the needs of specific projects and are not guaranteed ongoing or full-time work. Participation in meetings or collaborative sessions may be requested depending on project type and timeline.
