      Overview

      We are seeking an entry-level Contracts Attorney to join our legal team. This is a hybrid role in Lake Forest, Illinois. This role is ideal for a recent law school graduate or junior attorney interested in gaining hands-on experience in contract drafting, review, and negotiation. The Contracts Attorney will work under the guidance of our existing legal department and partner with internal teams to support the company’s business objectives while ensuring legal compliance.


      Responsibilities

      • Assist with drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of contracts, including vendor agreements, employment agreements, equipment purchase agreements, marketing agreements, equity documents, service agreements, licensing agreements, and nondisclosure agreements.
      • Research legal issues and provide recommendations to support contract-related matters.
      • Support the contract lifecycle, including renewals, amendments, and terminations.
      • Help maintain and update contract templates, playbooks, and related resources.
      • Collaborate with business teams, purchasing, and finance to support day-to-day contract needs.
      • Ensure contracts align with company policies and applicable laws.
      • Assist with contract tracking and record-keeping in the contract management system


      Qualifications

      • 1-3 years of experience.
      • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
      • Licensed to practice law in at least one state and in good standing in all states where admitted. Member of the Wisconsin or Illinois State bar or eligible to be admitted thereto
      • Strong interest in contract law, commercial transactions, or corporate law.
      • Excellent legal writing, research, and communication skills.
      • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
      • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

      For this position, the base pay range is $94,000-$105,000 per year. Individual pay is determined by role, level, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education, certification and training. This position is eligible for our annual incentive program.
