What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Negotiate and administer multi-million-dollar contracts for services and commodities related to Persons In Our Care (PIOC)
- Conduct market research and provide recommendations for innovative approaches to PIOC services
- Serve as the contract expert, coordinating with Division staff and external vendors
- Monitor contract performance and resolve contractual compliance issues
- Facilitate staff training and develop policies related to service contracts
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Experience in establishing contractual language for services or commodities
- Proven administration and management of contracts and projects
- Ability to maintain effective working relationships with external partners/stakeholders
- Experience in resolving contractual performance issues and ensuring contract compliance
- Experience in developing and implementing policies
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Direct involvement in statewide programs such as Property/Hobby, communication, tablets, and food contracts
- Experience in providing training or instruction to staff
