- Review, evaluate, and provide feedback on SOX documentation provided by newly acquired locations.
- Evaluate data to analyze new and existing processes and recommend best practices and procedures to increase effectiveness of internal controls; make recommendation of improvements.
- Perform research and analysis of various data to provide historical and trending information to management and identify process improvements.
- Support projects to solve key internal control issues as prioritized by management
- Participate in the implementation, administration, and maintenance of the Bw SOX compliance software. Enhance the user experience through recommendation of enhancements to the software tool as well as identifying, proposing, documenting, and developing best practices around the user's Bw experience
- Works with Bw technical support to provide Bw end-users technical support related to usage (assessments), reporting, content changes, software configuration, security and other technical-related support for the SOX compliance software tool. Provide data to support other areas of Internal Audit such as Financial & IT audits, SOX audits, and due diligence projects.
- Assists in software configurations based on new compliance requirements, content, internal compliance processes, and organizational changes. Ensures communication to end-users regarding new functionality or requirements. Also, assists Controls Compliance team with change processes for software upgrades that impacts end-user.
- Responsible for the developing, maintaining, and distributing of reports and data mining processes of Bw including data warehouse extraction and reporting maintenance procedures. Reviewing, evaluating, and providing commentary on SOX documentation provided by end users.
- Enhance and modify SOX guidance including Key Control Structure, Testing Programs and Plans, and other SOX guidance.
- Participates in special projects and performs other duties as required.
- Meeting Company standards pertaining to quantity and quality of work performed on an ongoing basis, performing all work related tasks in a manner that is in compliance with all Company policies and procedures.
- Experience working with Business Software Applications and business technology.
- Experience with facilitating groups and team projects.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical abilities to develop solutions to business problems. Strong technical aptitude and computer skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Power BI is preferred.
- Experience in use of spreadsheets and databases preferred. Experience with Sarbanes Oxley is a plus.
- Basic understanding of industry practices

MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE:
Typically 2 to 4 years of related professional experience.
PREFERRED EDUCATION:
Typically a Bachelor's or master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or global equivalent in related discipline
TRAVEL / PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Travel typically less than 10%. Office environment. No special physical demands required.
The posted range for this position is $54,000 - $94,500 , which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role.
