      UTA is seeking a Coordinator to support across the Comedy department in our London office.

      The Coordinator will have previous experience booking live comedy acts and be fully immersed in what’s happening in the global comedy scene.

      You will be responsible for providing support to UTA Comedy clients aimed at building and maintaining profitable touring relationships. In addition, you will be expected to route tours for small and medium projects and negotiate deals under supervision for existing clients on smaller shows.

      What You’ll Do:

      Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

      • Keeping booking system updated at all times
      • Progress booked shows through from offers to contracting, on sale and marketing to settlements
      • Attend shows of existing clients
      • Scout potential clients by covering London club and developing artist scene
      • Build and develop relationships with key industry stakeholders, including managers, promoters & venues
      • Network internally within UTA to share information and integrate department into wider UTA structure
      • Help co-ordinate Edinburgh booking needs and opportunities
      • Checking and comparing costings, collating for management

      What You’ll Need:

      • 3-5 years progressive experience in the comedy industry
      • General understanding of the entertainment industry and the nature of a talent agency
      • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
      • Familiarity with other platforms and systems (Zoom, Slack, Box, Concur, and Workday)
      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
      • Highly professional with excellent judgment, and a high level of discretion
      • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, prioritising a busy workload
      • Positive, self-motivated attitude
      • Effective time management skills with ability to meet deadlines and adjust to changing priorities
      • Exceptionally organised, with a strong attention to detail
