      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Send queries to providers and documentation feedback, collaborating closely with the Pediatric Compliance Manager
      - Serve as a resource to inpatient coders and assist in training new coders, performing audits as needed
      - Resolve Epic edits and appeals requests to ensure timely and accurate billing
      - Manage Epic Work Queues to identify coding topics/issues for coder meetings
      - Act as Lead Coder covering assignments at multiple hospital locations and ensure proper coding for E&M services

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
      - Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in medical coding, claims processing, or billing practices
      - Certification as a Certified Coding Associate (CCA), Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), or equivalent
      - Strong communication skills and ability to maintain confidentiality
      - Proficiency in CPT and ICD-10 coding systems

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Working knowledge of various coding and claims systems
      - Experience with medical terminology and office equipment
      - Effective written and oral communication skills
