      Position Summary:

      Florida Atlantic University is seeking a Coordinator of Admissions/Registration – Boca Raton, FL.

      Summary of Responsibilities include:

      • Evaluate applications and credentials of high school and transfer student applications for admission, using established FAU and SUS guidelines.

      • Input student information, including transcripts, test scores, and personal data into the FAU Student Information System.

      • Communicate via electronic mail with prospective students, parents, and high schools regarding the admissions process and required documentation.

      • Render admissions decisions and/or forward pertinent information to other reviewing authorities as required.

      • Process data corrections and updates to applicant information on the Student Information System.

      • Review reports for quality control and data integrity

      • Correct student records and update reports

      • Extract electronic data on student credentials from other institutions.

      • Process admissions lists and reports, including decision ready lists, wait lists, and cancellation lists.

      • Work with Information Systems staff on data points for Florida Board of Governors reports, Florida Atlantic University reports and other internal reports as needed.

      • Perform other administrative and support activities as required to support the Admissions function.

      • Other job-related duties as assigned.

      Minimum Qualifications:

      Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization and two years of appropriate experience required.

      Salary:

      $40,000.00 per year.

      Work Days and Hours:

      Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. Occasional night and weeks are required.
