Job Description
- Req#: 18686
- Assists with coordination, progress of projects, and ongoing assignments related to wellness activities for the department
- Manages schedules, calendars, and appointments
- Provides administrative support and coordination to the Office of Wellness & Resiliency as needed (e.g., agenda and presentation creation)
- Maintains and enhances professional growth through participation in seminars and internal training sessions to keep abreast of trends on the topic of wellness
- Acts as a liaison to gather ideas and boost interest in wellness
- Advises employees on available resources
- Demonstrates understanding and application of practices including but not limited to: performance measurements, wellness initiatives, and the unique demands of HSS and its employees
- Performs other duties as required by the Manager and Chief Wellness & Resiliency Officer
- Ability to communicate ideas and expectations to increase participation of wellness programs
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented and pragmatic; a team player who is analytical and solution-focused
- Exercises independent judgment and propose solutions when challenges arise
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently
- Superior oral, written and non-verbal communication skills; ability to forge and maintain strong professional relationships
- A strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Bachelor’s degree preferred. Advanced degree a plus
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a clinical or wellness setting
