Job Description

- Maintain all anchor schedules (News Now, TODAY, MSNBC, Nightly, Peacock) – confirming talent for each week and updating the internal Programming Calendar, including all long term planning for big events/vacation needs
- Admin responsibilities for talent department office-manage office travel, expenses/invoices, supplies, badge requests, office email distribution lists and field phone calls.
- Update internal files daily, including External Talent Database and Internal talent trackers (Correspondent hits tracker, Contributor look book, talent roster and anchor fill-in tracker )
- Talent interviews - Schedule meetings for all talent candidates and escort talent throughout the building, liaising talent/talent agents throughout the interview process. Distribute writing tests and update our talent interview tracker.
- Talent onboarding – Organize meetings for weeklong orientation, setup SSO/equipment/email/badge and escort Talent around welcome week
- Prepare presentations for talent recruitment projects as needed under direction of Sr. Manager
- Daily bio and clip pulling for SVP
- Set all talent development trainings
- Organize all anchor auditions and any 1:1 studio training sessions
- 1+ years professional experience or strong internships in media or high volume recruiting
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced, ever-changing news environment
- Exceptional attention to detail
- A mindset that no task is too big or small
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Self-motivated, creative and solution-oriented
- Passion for politics and strong grasp of news and current events
- Eager to learn and committed to educating oneself on the business and media landscape

- Bachelor’s Degree
- This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the 30 Rockefeller Plaza office a minimum of three days per week.

Job Description
The Talent Development group is looking for a Coordiantor to support the daily operations of the team. In this role, you will be responsible for Anchor schedules, working with various programming across the NBC News portfolio, organize and coordinate travel, and other administrative duties. The right candidate will conduct themselves with the utmost discretion and confidentiality.

This is a non-exempt role with a salary range of $24.00 - $28.00 per hour.
