What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Execute blog strategy to enhance content strategy and SEO outcomes for the website
- Create clear and engaging copy for various channels including blogs, websites, and social media
- Oversee fact-checking and proofreading of copy to ensure high writing quality
- Act as a brand ambassador, ensuring all communications align with the organization’s brand voice
- Collaborate with stakeholders to plan and produce content for marketing campaigns
What is Required (Qualifications):
- BA or BS in English, creative writing, marketing, or advertising, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 3 years' experience writing for different audiences with a strong portfolio
- Proven experience writing successful fundraising appeals and SEO-driven content
- Knowledge of SEO, fundraising best practices, and storytelling
- Familiarity with direct response, website, social, and blog platforms
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Minimum 2 years' experience writing fundraising copy
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders and through a creative process
- Knowledge of AP Style
- Moderately skilled with Office 365 suite and content management systems
- Exceptional storytelling and written communication skills
