What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Write and edit publications, articles, and documents for the SWA Communications Team
- Ensure the quality and clarity of written materials produced by SWA staff
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to gather information and insights for publications
- Support the SWA team in creating advocacy materials related to sanitation and water issues
- Contribute to the overall communication strategy of the SWA initiative
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in international relations, Public Relations, English Language or Literature, Communications, Journalism, or Creative Writing
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience in communications, journalism, or creative writing
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English, with proven publication-quality outputs
- Demonstrated experience in report writing and editing for advocacy and/or international development organizations
- Knowledge of Sanitation and Water for All (SWA) and/or water and sanitation-related topics is an asset
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Strong diplomatic skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in multicultural teams
- Previous experience in writing for international organizations or NGOs
- Familiarity with current trends in water and sanitation advocacy
- Additional language proficiency beyond English
