What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as the lead attorney negotiating commercial transactions with a diverse range of customers and vendors
- Collaborate with the commercial legal and sales teams to improve core commercial documents and processes
- Facilitate automation and efficiencies in partnership with the Legal Ops team
- Deliver practical, business-oriented guidance to support innovation while ensuring regulatory compliance
- Manage a high volume of contracts, adhering to tight timelines and competing priorities
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 4 years of experience independently leading negotiations of commercial contracts in the healthcare or SaaS sector
- Strong customer-service mindset with an emphasis on collaboration in negotiations
- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
- Experience building relationships and collaborating cross-functionally with technical teams, designers, and sales teams
- Creativity in navigating and crafting solutions for novel contractual matters
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with recent trends in artificial intelligence, particularly with language models
- Experience in a startup or high-growth organization, with a focus on scaling processes
- Background in additional areas such as SaaS, intellectual property, or privacy
