What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Review, draft, and negotiate various commercial agreements, including SaaS and vendor contracts
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align legal strategies with business objectives
- Manage the full lifecycle of contracts, including intake, negotiation, execution, and reporting
- Maintain and enforce legal processes to ensure compliance and efficiency
- Lead strategic initiatives, including the implementation of a Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) system
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and active bar membership in good standing
- 5+ years of experience practicing law, with at least 2+ years of in-house experience
- Expertise in commercial contracting and corporate law, preferably in the SaaS or technology sector
- Familiarity with data privacy, intellectual property, and regulatory issues relevant to health and student data
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and project management skills

- Experience integrating AI tools into legal workflows, such as contract review automation
- Strong problem-solving orientation with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
