- Support target identification, valuation and negotiation/communication as appropriate
- Manage various acquisition and due diligence activities including financial analysis, target evaluation, and post-acquisition integration
- Prepare Executive Committee presentations for transaction approval
- Critical to this role is performing qualitative and quantitative analysis of potential acquisitions
- Learn the BNA integration playbook and supporting Commercial teams with the successful and effective integration of acquired businesses
- Foster relationships with key partners with the ability to collaborate cross functionally
- Prepare materials and reports related to the integration process
- Collaborate with the acquisition team on potential roadblocks during the transaction evaluation process
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a closely related field
- MBA a major plus
- 5+ years of related Business, Finance, and Transaction experience
- Understanding of the P&L, Balance Sheet and Statements of Cash Flows
- Ability to influence without direct authority
- Demonstrates an independent work initiative, sound judgment, diplomacy, tact and professional
demeanor - Excellent interpersonal skills, energetic, pro-active self-starter who is capable of self-direction
- Driven to deliver quality results and meet deadlines with a high degree of integrity and in a highly ethical and professional manner
- Strong sense of urgency and ability to shift priorities quickly. This position works on a deal schedule with expected times of evening and weekend work as appropriate
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Excellent written, verbal, and electronic communications that are professional in delivery and content
- Ability to create executive level presentations for internal and external stakeholders
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Power BI experience and other Data Warehouses a major plus.
The Corporate Development Manager is a key team member on the Bunzl North America acquisition team. This new role will support all elements of company-wide process for acquisitions, including target identification, valuation, negotiations/communications and will also perform related financial analysis, assist in transaction due diligence, and be a critical member of the integration team. This role will report directly to the Executive Vice President – Corporate Development and General Counsel and work closely with key Finance leaders including the CFO of BNA.
This role is based in St. Louis, MIssouri.
