      The TransUnion Event Marketing team builds and manages live and virtual experiences that positively showcase our brand, drive growth, and optimize return on investment. We create opportunities to foster customer relationships and acquire new leads. We leverage data to highlight the impact and value of events to make smarter decisions on event investments, and we drive operational efficiency and consistency with end-to-end event execution.

      The Corporate Event Planner, Internal Events, supports business stakeholders in the management and execution of internal sales enablement, sales incentive, and global leadership events. This role is responsible for managing all logistics and production of TransUnion’s largest event, the annual U.S. Sales Kickoff, as well as supporting the management of internal global leadership and internal sales incentive events. This role reports to the Sr. Director, Global Event Marketing, and works alongside a team of event marketers who deliver event experiences that positively impact our brand and business objectives.

      What You'll Bring:

      • A minimum 5-7 years’ experience executing events, with an emphasis on internal sales kickoff, sales incentive, and executive leadership events.
      • Build and manage end-to-end event execution, including venue sourcing, contracting, event logistics (F&B, hotels, venues, transportation, branding), event production (staging, A/V), event attendee communications, registration/housing management, giveaways, signage, etc. for TransUnion’s largest event, the annual U.S. Sales Kickoff of 800+ attendees.
      • Be the strategic event expert and trusted partner to business stakeholders by recommending improvements to previous events, implementing industry best practices, suggesting innovative ideas and cost efficiencies.
      • Manage cross-functional stakeholders, setting clear expectations, and driving for alignment on event strategy and delivery
      • Plan, forecast, and manage against a defined event budget, and partner with finance and accounting on budget reporting and reconciliation
      • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time

      We'd love to see:

      • A Bachelors’ degree in event/hospitality management, marketing, communications, or a related field
      • Understanding of event technologies, such as registration, mobile apps and other event platforms or technologies
      • The ability to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment, problem solve, manage multiple projects/events at one time, and consistently meet deadlines
      • Strong people skills, willingness to accept and provide direction, ability to work independently while remaining a team player
      • Experience with Cvent

      Impact You'll Make:

      • Strong project management skills and experience leading cross functional teams and managing agencies/vendors
      • Coordinate deliverables with marketing communications and creative services team including graphics, literature, advertising, promotional items, etc.
      • Create and lead post event debriefs

      This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.

      Pay Scale Information :

      The salary range for this position is $70,300.00 - $112,200.00. *The salary range for this position reflects the general range of compensation for this job and does not include our bonus incentive(s). This position is eligible for bonus incentive(s). At TransUnion, actual compensation is based on careful consideration of additional factors such as (but not limited to) an individual’s education, training, work experience, job-related skill set, industry knowledge, as well as the scope and responsibilities of the position, and market considerations.
