      Job Summary:

      The Corporate Sales Manager is responsible for the management for the market branch network as well as the development, implementation and administration of the bank’s sales growth and service strategies. This position greatly influences performance by establishing goals, coaching both staff and management, and developing the overall sales and service culture with the goal of complete customer satisfaction.

      ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

      Corporate Level Duties

      • Participate actively in Sales Council meetings and committee meetings to provide and recommend effective and sound initiatives to achieve corporate and market performance goals.
      • Implements Sales Council initiatives at market level which support the high performance corporate strategic goals.

      Market Level Duties

      • Sales and Service functions:
        • Develops and implements market retail strategic plan initiatives to meet corporate and market growth goals in deposits/loans, net accounts, referral programs and customer service
        • Conducts routine review and analysis of production and customer service results to establish the market/corporate high performance goals and expectations are met as well as maintaining the integrity of the program standards
        • Ensures corporate and market level retail and referral program components of the strategic plan are effectively implemented throughout the market retail division.
        • Maintains the operations of the teller area in accordance with the established guidelines, policies, and procedures and within the highest level of customer service
        • Oversees employee recruitment and retention strategies are effectively implemented to maintain qualified staffing levels in the retail division at all times
        • Manage ongoing employment and career development programs to include coaching, evaluating and mentoring of all retail staff
        • Monitors that all retail staff function in accordance with the existing compliance and regulatory framework to ensure quality and compliant services are provided
        • Implements and reviews all retail initiatives, rewards and recognition programs are effectively implemented, managed and promoted at the market level.

      • Operational functions:
        • Manages retail operational areas such as Business Development, Wire Transfers, Treasury Management, Branch Administration, Human Resources/Training and other operational areas.
        • Collaborates with different areas to ensure branch image and facilities meets IBC standards.
        • Participates and assist with the opening of new IBC branches and consolidation of branches.
        • Actively participates in civic and community organizations in support of the growth and progress of the communities we serve.

      EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

      • High School or GED equivalent
      • Minimum five years of sales management and financial industry experience
      • Bachelor’s Degree with an emphasis in Business or related experience is preferred
      • Experience in all aspects of planning and implementing sales strategies
      • Proven customer relationship management experience
      • Experience in managing and directing sales and service focused teams
