As Corporate Strategy Analyst, you'll report to our Head of Corporate Strategy and be an important member of our team, working with experienced colleagues to develop your strategy skills. You will have opportunities to collaborate with teams such as Finance, and Business Planning, and you'll work with our Senior Leadership Team right up to ExCo level.

What we're looking for:

We are looking for someone who wants to develop themselves in a strategy environment, who has an analytical mindset, and can help solve business problems.

We need someone who can build relationships based on trust, who can communicate and influence effectively at all levels.

A background in Insurance, Strategy Consultancy, or a Big 4 Accountancy Firm would be advantageous.

What you'll be doing:

This is a really exciting opportunity for someone to help shape the future of Direct Line Group, working with senior leadership teams on important questions within the business. You'll help develop group-wide strategy, delivering insight on our environment and context to support the groups strategic choices.

Other responsibilities:

• Support the team in being advisers to the senior leadership team & departments by providing analysis to identify strategic issues and providing strategic insight
• Contribute to corporate development (M&A) Strategy
• Support delivery of the quarterly business reviews, strategic planning process, the annual Board strategy day and ad hoc requests from the Board & ExCo.
• Perform competitor analysis that provides valuable insight to management. Ensure link up with other competitor insight produced within business.
• Provide excellent problem solving skills to the organisation
• Develop a network of contacts with the partners
