Today, there are more than 6,000 NAPA AUTO PARTS Stores. About 1,000 of them are corporate owned, and Genuine Parts Company is the employer for these locations. However, there are about 5,000 independently owned and operated NAPA AUTO PARTS Stores where individual store owners are the employer.

We have been independently owned and operated since 1958. We have been located in the Mendenhall Valley since 1983.

Job Description

Primary functions are to provide prompt and courteous service to all customers and potential customers of the store, including walk-in, delivery customers and telephone shoppers. This position requires the ability to effectively understand and communicate product information, performance standards, warranties, and sales programs. It also requires the ability to operate and utilize point-of-sales invoicing, cash register and electronic communications equipment. You must be able to work on your feet (stand and walk) for entire assigned work shift and capable to lifting and moving parts and boxes of up to 60 pounds.

Qualifications

We are looking for an experienced parts salesperson with a working knowledge of vehicle systems and components. Knowledge of heavy-duty equipment and marine equipment also a plus. We are a NAPA Auto Parts store located in Juneau, Alaska, so an extensive knowledge of parts and good customer service skills are a MUST!
