      Today, there are more than 6,000 NAPA AUTO PARTS Stores. About 1,000 of them are corporate owned, and Genuine Parts Company is the employer for these locations. However, there are about 5,000 independently owned and operated NAPA AUTO PARTS Stores where individual store owners are the employer. This position is through independently owned and operated stores in Louisville and Erie, CO.

      Job Description

      By providing excellent customer service, the Counter Sales Professional plays a key role in servicing our customers. This position assists customers with automotive questions, do-it-yourself projects, and auto parts needs. Our Counter Sales Professionals build customer relationships by providing professional service and ensuring that the "right part" is purchased the first time. We promote from within and provide opportunities for someone looking for a retail career. If this sounds like the right team environment for you, we want to hear from you!

      Qualifications

      We are looking for a new team member with the following qualifications:

      • Ability to work full time including evenings and weekends when required
      • A person of integrity and respected in the community.
      • Rapport builder who is friendly and outgoing.
      • An active listener who takes the time to understand the customer's needs and can provide the right solution.
      • Dependable and can-do attitude, punctual and on time.
      • Ability to multi-task with attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
      • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
      • Previous customer sales experience in the automotive, paint and/or heavy duty areas preferred.
      • Capable of lifting and moving parts and boxes of up to 60 pounds.
      • Valid driver's license required.

      Starting salaries will be dependent upon previous experience and will be between $29,000 and $35,000 annually.
