Construction Phase Support to current construction projects
Tracking and reporting on the Contractor’s progress
Ensuring compliance with specifications
Construction surveillance and associated reporting
Resolve technical queries during construction in conjunction with the design team
Oversee civil designs and provide Quality Assurance for the engineering team.
Provide technical insight and guidance with comprehensive knowledge of NZ engineering standards and regulations.
Qualifications in a relevant discipline such as Construction or Civil Engineering.
Strong experience in managing clients, design consultants and front end delivery teams.
Large Infrastructure project experience .
A deep understanding of Design and Construction processes including working with public and private sector clients engaged in the procurement process, initial feasibility and bid management through to financial close, and project design, construction and handover.
A collaborative team member .
A high level of verbal and written communication skills demonstrating initiative and problem-solving skills.
Advanced understanding of civil engineering standards and processes.
Comprehensive knowledge of New Zealand engineering Standards (NZS3910).
An ability to produce detailed construction methodologies and programming for the estimating and build teams.

What’s the mahi?
As a CPS Lead , you’ll play a key role in our Delivery Management team. This team is responsible for overseeing a wide-range of infrastructure construction projects and ensuring that the Principal’s asset is constructed to the appropriate standards .
This role can be based in any of these locations:
You will be involved with projects that vary in size and are delivered by different contract models from traditional construct-only contracts to Alliance/PPP projects. In a number of these projects, we are also responsible for full MSQA service which includes administering the contract either in a role of Engineer to the Contract or Engineer’s Representative.
