What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Create initial credentialing files for providers and facilities
- Submit provider and facility paperwork/forms based on payer requirements
- Communicate with providers and service lines to obtain necessary data for submission to payers
- Ensure timely re-certification for provider and facility contracts
- Document all correspondence and update provider and facility information as needed
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least one (1) year of experience in a physician office or medical billing operation
- Strong PC skills, including proficiency in word processing and spreadsheets
- Ability to learn and utilize custom systems and applications
- Results-oriented mindset with the ability to work both collaboratively and autonomously
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with credentialing software and billing systems
- Knowledge of payer requirements and credentialing processes
