What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage and maintain payor enrollment for a large provider group, including processing Oregon Medicaid and PRIMECARE
- Complete detailed professional applications for hospitals and payers, ensuring timely reviews and signatures
- Collaborate interdepartmentally to enhance understanding of credentialing processes and improve workflows
- Ensure timely renewal of physician licenses and maintain accurate documentation
- Conduct primary source verification for new and existing physicians as requested by management
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma, GED, or suitable equivalent
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a hospital medical staff setting with professional and payer credentialing and enrollment
- Experience with Oregon, PRIMECARE, CAQH, PECOS, and Medicaid
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Credentialing certification preferred; ongoing education encouraged
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience supporting teleradiology practices (e.g., Radiology Partners, Envision)
- Knowledge of medical credentialing and privileging procedures and standards
- Familiarity with Out of State Medical Board Licensure application processes
