What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Evaluate practitioner credentials files to ensure compliance with established specifications
- Identify and resolve potentially adverse information that may impact medical staff membership
- Assess qualifications against privileging criteria and recommend actions for resolution
- Coordinate interviews for initial applicants and follow-up as needed
- Serve as a liaison for practitioner evaluation and provide support for review processes
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or GED required, Bachelor's degree preferred
- Clinical credentials preferred
- Certification by NAMSS as a CMSC or CPCS preferred or attainable within 2 years
- Proficiency in software applications and ability to draft business correspondence
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience in a closely related health care position with knowledge of medical terminology
- Certification as a CMSC or CPCS
- Ability to handle multiple tasks with short timelines and prioritize work effectively
