What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Make collection calls and maintain follow-up on past due items from customers
- Research customer deductions and pursue repayment for invalid deductions
- Review and prepare credit memos as necessary
- Establish positive relationships with customers to effectively resolve issues
- Maintain customer profiles and metrics for key accounts
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, along with sound math skills
- Basic understanding of accounting principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience in accounts receivable or a related financial role
- Familiarity with credit and collection processes
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
- Experience with customer relationship management tools
