What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Research and resolve direct and indirect credit bureau disputes while ensuring timely follow-up
- Handle sensitive consumer information, including credit bureau data and personal identifiable information (PII)
- Utilize internal systems and third-party data sources to verify accuracy of credit reporting
- Engage with internal and external partners to obtain necessary account information
- Identify and implement process improvements based on daily observations
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Associate's Degree or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 3 years in Financial Services
- Superior analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Knowledge of state and federal laws applicable to collections, including the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA)
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Prior experience with credit disputes specifically related to auto loans
- Familiarity with the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA)
