What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Investigate and respond accurately and timely to credit bureau disputes and corrections
- Monitor credit reporting controls to ensure compliance with policies and procedures
- Maintain knowledge of CDIA guidelines and Metro2 standards for reporting disputes
- Respond to Adverse Action and Inquiry Removal requests directly from consumers
- Ensure compliance with company policies, state and federal laws, and regulations
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- Minimum of two (2) years of credit bureau reporting and disputes experience
- Previous experience in the finance or credit-related industry preferred
- Familiarity with eOscar Dispute software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 1 to 2 years of work-related experience in the finance or credit industry
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively across disciplines
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision
- Adaptability to a rapidly changing environment
- High level of professionalism and initiative
