What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Interpret financial statements and perform cash flow and personal financial statement analysis
- Complete credit underwriting for annual relationship reviews, line of credit renewals, and loan modifications
- Conduct testing of commercial loan covenants to ensure compliance
- Present facts concerning the creditworthiness of small business and commercial loan applicants to management
- Assist with data gathering and review for various portfolio management projects
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree in a business-related field required (Accounting or Finance preferred)
- Ability to maintain proficiency in the bank's policies and procedures and adhere to applicable laws and regulations
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills to express thoughts and ideas effectively
- Detail-oriented with a self-motivated approach to completing tasks efficiently
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products; proficiency in Excel preferred
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Understanding of commercial credit underwriting and analysis or equivalent experience in accounting or finance
- Formal Credit Training with proven analytical skills
- Basic understanding of commercial loan structures and underwriting
- Familiarity with commercial real estate and small business loans
