What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and implement policies to evaluate customer financial strength and credit worthiness
- Assist with integrating acquired companies into credit processes
- Manage risk associated with slow-paying customers and those exceeding credit limits
- Complete credit line reviews to support revenue growth and mitigate risk
- Collect unearned early pay discounts and partner with sales to change customer behavior
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or equivalent experience
- 2-4 years of finance experience preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with credit risk management and financial analysis
- Familiarity with credit instruments and lien waivers
- Knowledge of compliance and applicable laws related to credit and finance
- Previous experience in a corporate finance or credit analyst role
- Proficiency in CRM systems and financial software
