      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Underwrite merchant applications and conduct preliminary analysis of credit applications
      - Perform risk reviews and implement risk mitigation strategies to prevent losses
      - Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain accurate records of credit applications
      - Coordinate the underwriting process and serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders
      - Identify opportunities for process improvements within the underwriting process

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
      - Minimum of 5 years of experience in credit risk assessment, underwriting, or a related field
      - Strong knowledge of credit risk principles and regulatory requirements
      - Excellent organizational and time management skills
      - Proficiency in financial analysis software, underwriting systems, and Microsoft Office Suite

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience with Fiserv, Elavon, and Evo systems
      - Certification in credit risk management or underwriting (e.g., CRC, CCRM, CPP, CAMS)
      - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
      - Experience in training and mentoring new staff in credit risk assessment
