- Spearheading a technology strategy and roadmap for digital experiences, ensuring consistency and partnering with stakeholders to drive best practices and maturity.
- Build foundations that enable the broader engineering teams to create digital experiences and features using the latest technology. The foundations will underpin the features that determine how millions of Australians access, understand, manage and invest their money.
- Taking ownership of the performance and availability of the Crew’s assets, including total cost of ownership considerations.
- Cultivating and growing world-class delivery and engineering capabilities, leading a diverse team of professionals across multiple locations.
- Bridging the gap between business and technology strategy, ensuring transparent management of tech dependencies and effective prioritization of key capabilities.
- Fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement, particularly in DevSecOps practices.
- Providing visionary leadership in technology planning, aligning with industry trends and best practices.
- Has proven experience as a technology leader delivering and leading engineering teams of 30 or more people in matrix organisations.
- Exhibits strong and proven people leadership through coaching and mentoring.
- Is a hands-on technologist and passionate builder and engineer, have led modern digital, cloud technology teams living and breathing a DevOps culture.
- Is an excellent communicator and great with stakeholders of all levels and have worked successfully in complex, matrix organisations.
- Demonstrates the ability to influence and champion technology maturity with stakeholders with technical and non-technical backgrounds.
- Have a can-do attitude and are looking to solve complex challenges.

This role is for a Crew Tech Lead of our Technology Foundations crew, where the heart of our foundational digital capabilities live.
You are a seasoned Technology Leader who will lead our technological evolution within our dynamic DevSecOps environment. As the Crew Tech Lead in our Digital Technology Foundations crew, you’ll steer the integration of development, security, and operations. Your role extends beyond technology; adept high-level stakeholder management will be key in driving our innovations securely, ensuring a harmonious synergy between cutting-edge solutions and strategic business goals.
We support our people with the flexibility to balance where work is done with at least half your time each month connecting in office.
