Advocate Christ is one of the busiest Level I trauma centers in Illinois and provides emergency care for >105,000 patients annually. This is a premier teaching institution and is a nationally ranked center for cardiac surgery. Advocate Christ has 280 residents and fellows in addition to approximately 645 medical students.
Job details
- Full-time practice opportunity (1932 hours annually), part-time (0.5 FTE) could be considered
- CVTU is 24 beds
- Medical cardiac unit
- Advanced heart failure, PAH, pre-LVAD, pre-transplant and some thoracic surgery patients
- EPIC EMR
- Anticipated start date is summer 2025
Training and/or experience required
- Board certification/board-eligible critical care
- Experience preferred working with Cardiac Surgeons and working in a Cardiac ICU
