What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide commissioning oversight to validate mechanical system performance and control sequences
- Develop and conduct commissioning for infrastructure projects executed at operational data centers
- Conduct operational procedure validation during the post turnover pre-customer load deployment phase
- Perform site inspections and audits focused on mechanical reliability, efficiency, and risk
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align standards and enhance readiness playbooks
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in mission-critical facilities, particularly with chilled-water plants and control systems
- Proficient understanding of ASHRAE TC9.9 guidance and commissioning methodologies
- Hands-on experience with submittal reviews, functional performance testing, and punch-list closeout
- Strong documentation skills and effective stakeholder communication
- Analytical skills with a solid understanding of testing and commissioning methodologies
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent practical experience
- PMP, AHRAE certifications, or PE are preferred
