Position Summary:
The Cuisinart Summer Internship Program is designed to provide exceptional with a unique opportunity to learn firsthand about the diverse business operations at Cuisinart. Those selected will gain invaluable work experience through challenging project assignments and on the job learning experiences.

Responsibilities:
The Cuisinart Product Development/Product Marketing department is seeking an intern to join their team for the summer 2024 program. This is an exciting opportunity to learn how new products are made, and what it takes to develop new items from ideation to store shelves. The products of focus will be on heated electric appliances such as air fryers, waffle makers and toasters. The intern will gain hands on experience with day-to-day operations including meetings with engineering, culinary test kitchen and marketing—as well as assisting in handling day to day tasks including sample logging, sample evaluation, updating excel and PowerPoint documents and general needs of the team as they arise.

Additionally, the intern will have ownership of an independent project that will be determined in discussions with their manager based on strengths, interests and current department needs.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Majoring in a relevant field including, but not limited to: Product development, marketing, business, merchandising, industrial design.
- Organized and detail oriented with excellent note-taking.
- Ability to self-motivate and deliver work on time.
- Basic knowledge in Microsoft suite (emphasis on power point and excel).
- General interest/passion for cooking a plus!

To Qualify/Apply:
o You must be a current college student entering your junior or senior year in the fall of 2024.
o Internships start in early June and runs for 10 weeks.
o You must be in excellent academic standing.
o You have strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
o You are proficient with MS Office including Excel and PowerPoint
o We currently operate on a hybrid schedule; Interns must be willing to come into the office 3 days/week. Conair does not provide housing for summer interns.
o All internship positions are paid $20/hour and based out of our Stamford, CT office.
