What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide clinical leadership while addressing the educational needs of new employees, experienced staff, and students
- Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate educational and professional development activities based on staff needs
- Conduct and review annual educational needs assessments to develop or revise curricula
- Collaborate with unit leadership to promote the growth and development of clinical staff using best practices
- Design and deliver educational programs to address deficiencies in staff/student skills
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
- Five (5) years of nursing specialty experience, including two (2) years in nursing education or program assessment/development
- Registered Nurse in the State of Arkansas
- Certification in the area of specialty or obtainable within two years of hire
- Understanding of regulatory and compliance organizations/agencies
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master’s Degree in Nursing
- Experience in an academic medical setting
- National Nursing Certification in the specialty area of the position
