What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide clinical leadership and meet the educational needs of staff, students, and new employees
- Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate educational and professional development activities
- Design and develop curricula based on educational needs assessments
- Utilize evidence-based practices and adult learning principles in educational programs
- Collaborate with unit leadership to enhance the growth and development of clinical staff
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
- Minimum of five (5) years of nursing specialty experience, including two (2) years in nursing education or program assessment/development
- Registered Nurse license in the State of Arkansas
- Certification in the specialty area obtainable within two years of hire
- Strong communication skills and understanding of regulatory compliance
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master’s Degree in Nursing
- Experience in an academic medical setting
- National Nursing Certification in the specialty area for the position
