- Generate new Sales from existing and new customers. Work closely with cross-functional teams as the 'voice of the customer' to create strategies, establish priorities, and manage the sales deliverable process
- Lead the development of customer solutions by performing analysis of customer needs and available resources. Lead the interface with the customer and internal resources to keep both apprised of key issues and concerns. Leverage resources and knowledge of products, services, processes, and operations to support customer commitments, gain competitive advantages and foster business growth
- Work closely with R&T to develop innovative new products and solutions for technically challenging customer applications
- Ability to establish relationships with key customer contacts. Build collaborative relationships. Adapt communication style and techniques to a variety of communication channels including virtual, written, or face to face communication.
- Negotiate Long Term Agreements (LTAs) striving for increase market share while maintaining or growing profitability
- Willing to travel approximately 25%
- Bachelor’s Degree required; STEM degrees a plus, 5+ years of selling experience preferred
- Strong communication skills and the ability to develop and maintain relationships
- The capability to communicate technical needs from customers to internal engineering staff
- Must have a hands-on, team player attitude with a self-driven work ethic
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work under pressure
- Competency for sales order process as it relates to customer specifications and change requirements, and ability work closely with operations to ensure timely implementation of production schedules
- Proficiency in the use of personal computers and the Microsoft Office Suite
- All candidates must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Security Clearance
