What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Resolve Tier 2 and some Tier 3 support tickets requiring specialized knowledge of the product and insurance
- Serve as the first line of escalation for CX Associates, assisting with challenging inquiries
- Collaborate with leadership and operations to identify workflow gaps and recommend process improvements
- Maintain deep knowledge of insurance processes and Alma’s product for accurate case handling
- Ensure accurate documentation for each case to facilitate seamless handoffs and audits
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 2 years of customer experience or support experience in healthcare, fintech, or start-up environments
- Experience in high-volume live support channels (chat or phone) in addition to email
- Proficiency in queue management, SLA prioritization, and multitasking across systems
- Strong ability to navigate complex workflows and investigate ambiguous cases
- Excellent de-escalation and conflict management skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience handling specialized, high-priority, or escalation queues
- Familiarity with mental health care processes or similar healthcare services
