What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Answer inbound calls and make outbound calls, engaging with patients in a friendly manner
- Provide one-stop service for patients, addressing issues and concerns related to billing and insurance
- Manage accounts receivable functions, including cash collection and financial assistance programs
- Educate patients on billing, insurance, and regulatory issues of varying complexity
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure coordinated revenue management activities
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED)
- Minimum of 1 year of related work experience
- Strong communication skills and customer service experience
- Knowledge of customer support policies, standards, and procedures
- Ability to maintain compliance with federal and state regulations
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 1 year of customer service experience in a healthcare-related setting
- Familiarity with billing systems and revenue management processes
- Experience in resolving complex customer service issues
