- Together with the Head of Customer Marketing and GTR Commercial Managers, assist in the development and execution of yearly trade marketing programs and activities consistent with GTR brand strategies, while adhering to markets’ commercial needs, objectives, budgets
- Review and evaluate customer marketing programs and activities for effectiveness and efficiency; Make recommendations of brand initiatives and tactical promotions required to improve performance
- Aligned to Global Brand Team and GTR growth plans, responsible for development of brand growth plans and marketing strategies and executions of innovation launch plans and marketing activations of Brugal
- Assist Customer Marketing The Macallan Brand Lead in providing the following: Commercial: Support GTR Commercial Team with marketing tools e.g. Retailers’ Presentation, Product Sell Sheets, Brand Assets, Launch Directives, Training Materials
- Consumer Event proposals/support Education & Training: Support Customer Marketing Manager in adaptations of The Macallan brand educational modules and materials for all GTR customer groups
- Launch Management (For A Launches only): Support Post-Launch Analysis with sell-in/sell-out data, trade and consumer feedback, market activation KPIs of owned customer groups to identify learnings for future improvement
- Forecast management: Working with Demand Planner, involve in monthly forecast review for brands and markets (Innovations, Limited Editions, Prestige items, Promotional Items and POSMs)
- Bachelors degree or equivalent
- Experience in Luxury Goods and Services and / or FMCG. Travel Retail & Duty Free background preferred.
- Strong presentation and communication skills. Commercially driven with strong analytical skill
- Well-organized, meticulous, detail oriented, self-motivated, ability to handle multiple / diverse tasks while able to adapt to changes in a fast pace environment
- Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills
- Possess excellent project management and time management skills
- Proactive, good team player and independent with strong dedication to result
- Ability to build relationship and garner support across functional teams. Experience in leading a team preferred.
- Ability to build cohesive relationships with various internal stakeholders
- Strong knowledge and understanding of current trends in digital media/social media and competency in digital marketing tools
- Competency in spoken and written English. Proficiency in Spanish language a plus

Position Summary
This is an 9 month contract opportunity.
Under the guidance and supervision of Head of Customer Marketing, Global Travel Retail (GTR), working together with Global Brand Team, GTR Marketing and Commercial Manager(s), Regional & Domestic marketing teams, the GTR Customer Marketing Manager/ Americas will be primarily responsible for The Macallan brand in developing brand growth plan and marketing strategies, formulation and execution of launch plans, marketing programs and activities, in order to secure sustainable growth in sales revenue and business profit, while ensuring A&P spend is kept within given budget. Other key deliverables include marketing support for The Macallan Boutique & SIS, GTR Digital and E- Commerce Strategy and Project Infinity. This role is required to work in close partnerships with external parties (retailers and vendors) and internal teams from the GTR Commercial team, GTR Marketing/Create team, Regional Americas and Global Brand teams, Supply Chain and Finance.
