What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Respond to and resolve customer inquiries related to bank products and services
- Provide professional and courteous customer support, often as the primary point of contact for customers
- Accept ownership of customer requests and follow through to resolution
- Collaborate with other departments to address customer issues and improve service processes
- Maintain confidentiality while managing customer information and interactions
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum of one year of customer service experience required; experience in banking or financial institutions preferred
- Ability to use personal computers and proficiency with Microsoft Office products
- Strong organizational, time management, and prioritizing skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous contact center experience preferred
- Previous sales experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills and a professional demeanor
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work collaboratively with team members
