What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Receive and respond to routine member and/or provider inquiries, requests, and concerns in an accurate and timely manner
- Mitigate and prevent complaints from being escalated by resolving issues during the initial contact
- Serve as the front-line resolution advocate for various inquiries and requests
- Resolve basic problems by assessing member or provider needs and determining if issues require routing to other departments
- Document all member or provider communications for quality tracking through Customer Relationship Management (CRM) applications
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must possess a High School Diploma or GED
- 0-2 years of Call Center/Customer Service experience
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to multi-task and work independently from home without distractions
- Excellent interpersonal skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 2 years of call center experience
- 2 years of claims experience
- Knowledge of Medicaid
- Previous experience with Microsoft computer applications
- Experience working remotely using multiple applications and screens
